Content Marketing Manager (German)

Remote-first (Lisbon-based team) | Native German | 25 hours/week or full-time

At Phira Venture Studio, we build and invest in businesses with purpose. This role is at one of our portfolio brands whose team you'd be joining directly.

The brand sells health & wellness products DTC in the German market. The hero product has won many awards and is well-established in its segment.

Over 200,000 people already love our brand, and we want a lot more to discover it. That's why we're looking for a German-speaking content marketer who can shape the brand's voice, keep messaging consistent across every channel, and write copy that catches people’s attention.

You will be in charge of every email, every ad, and every line on the website. Your work will directly drive the success of the business, and you will have an impact from day one.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

We're a small team, so there are no long approval lines. We will give you the freedom to make decisions yourself that other organizations would take weeks to settle on.

Your three core areas:

• Email marketing: campaigns, flows, and growing our newsletter list.
• Ad copy: angles, hooks, and headlines for paid campaigns, written to be tested, iterated, and improved.
• Website copy: product pages, landing pages, and everything that turns a visitor into a customer.

Across all three, you'll:

• Shape the brand voice: how it sounds, what it stands for, and how those values reach the customer.
• Help grow the brand and sharpen its positioning: messaging, angles, and campaign ideas. Content isn't downstream of the strategy; it's part of it
• Analyze what your content does to the business, not just to the campaign. You'll have the real numbers - revenue, conversion rate, AOV, repeat purchases - and you’ll use them to decide what you write next.
• Work in close collaboration with the team: marketing, design, product, and development
• Use AI tools to scale your output without diluting quality. We are an AI-first organization and are embracing its advantage, but have no tolerance for AI slop.
• Apply SEO & GEO best practices so the content you write has a lasting impact

If you join full-time: social media content becomes part of the job as well. You'd take over the full process, from idea to shooting to editing, and grow our socials into another meaningful channel. Real affinity for social helps here: you spend time on the platforms, you know the formats, and you have a feel for why one video works and the next one doesn't.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Native or near-native German, with flawless grammar and an instinct for tone. You write copy that sounds personal. You use AI to leverage your time, but don’t let it take over your thinking.
• 1+ years of content marketing experience (e-commerce or DTC preferred)
• You notice ads instead of scrolling past them, you're subscribed to newsletters you don't strictly need, and you can say what makes a good one work. You know what's working right now and what's already worn out.
• Analytical instincts: you're comfortable in the numbers. You can read campaign performance, spot what's working, form a hypothesis, and rewrite accordingly.
• Demonstrated AI proficiency: concrete examples of AI-driven gains in speed and quality
• Ownership mindset: you set your own deadlines and hit them without being chased
• Extremely organized: clean workflows, on top of the details, clear bias to action
• A strong, proactive communicator
• Proof you execute: writing samples, campaigns, projects, brand work

NICE TO HAVE

• Familiarity with email CRMs such as Klaviyo or similar
• Previous experience with SEO / GEO
• Basic content production skills (shooting, editing)
• Based in Lisbon
