YOUR ROLE

Every clip that stops someone mid-scroll at midnight got there because the system behind it worked. Someone has to read the numbers, kill what is not landing, double down on what is, and make the whole machine sharper every single week. The payoff is counted in how many people meet the gospel because the right 45 seconds finally reached them. That someone is you.

You own the dashboard, the winner calls, the standards, and the health of the entire clip-testing loop. You are the conductor: you turn data into decisions and make every role and every step better. You run the cadence, hold each seat accountable, and step in wherever the loop stalls.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

• Own the winner calls. Read the dashboard daily and decide what graduates to the main page, what gets re-cut and re-tested, and what gets scrapped.
• Keep the standards honest. Tune the per-platform benchmarks as real data comes in, so "winner" always means something.
• Turn patterns into direction. Tell the editor exactly where clips lose people, and tell the picker which moment types keep winning.
• Own the cadence. Run the daily and weekly rhythm and hold the editor and the picker to their numbers.
• Coach the people, not just the process. Make each person and each step measurably better over time.
• Own the weekly report. Turn the week's data into a written analysis for leadership, and step into any seat when that is what keeps the loop moving.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (FIRST 90 DAYS)

1. The loop runs, every week.
   • Every stream gets its 8 to 12 moments pulled, the rough cuts get made, and each edit comes back inside its target window, so no step falls through the cracks.
   • All performance data is collected clean, and a written weekly analysis report reaches leadership. By day 30, leadership is off the daily dashboard read entirely.
2. The system hits its numbers.
   • At least 30 percent of rough cuts become high-performing winners.
   • At least 25 percent of those winners perform again when re-cut and re-tested in the Phase B round.
3. The page grows faster than it does today.
   • In your first month, establish the page's current growth rate. By day 90, that rate is meaningfully higher and holding.

THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF

• You have never run an operating cadence or owned a metric end to end. This is not a first management job.
• You need genius creative taste to feel useful. The scorecard does the picking here. Your job is to read it and act, fast.
• You have never held people to a standard. This seat coaches the editor and the picker and names a miss directly.
• You freeze when the data kills your favorite clip. Some weeks it will, and you act on it anyway.
• You want to stay in one lane. You will read data one hour and unblock a stuck edit the next.

NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience running a team or a repeatable process, with a metric you personally owned and moved. Name it and the numbers.
• Comfort reading a performance dashboard and making fast, clear calls from it (content, growth, or analytics background).
• Enough understanding of short-form to improve an editor's and a picker's work, not just grade it.
• Fluency in ClickUp and the discipline to run a documented cadence.
• Reliable daily overlap with Pacific Time.
• Applications without proof of past results will not be reviewed.

COMPENSATION

$4,500 to $5,500 per month on retainer, plus performance bonuses tied to the results you move (the system win rate climbing and the page growing faster). We start toward the lower end during a paid trial and move up as you take the daily read off leadership and the numbers climb. This is the highest-leverage seat in the system, with a clear path to scaling the machine across formats.
