This is a 100% remote internship from select locations with an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the Chicago, IL metro area. About the Role The Communications Intern will be mentored by and report to Keeper’s Communications Director and will be responsible for supporting the Communications and Social Media teams on daily tasks and projects. This is a fall and winter internship with a fixed 6 month duration. This is a paid internship designed to offer professional experience. Please note that we do not offer school credit for this internship. Responsibilities Support the Communications and Social Media teams with projects and daily tasks, including updating and maintaining the company’s media page, content creation for social media, announcement planning and execution, and writing for PR and internal communications Exhibit a high level of professionalism and creative thinking Show a strong desire to learn along with a drive to succeed in assigned tasks Requirements Must have a strong desire to learn and professional drive to succeed Interest in learning about Keeper’s products, cybersecurity and industry trends Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and be personable and dependable Familiarity with drafting internal and/or external communications content including employee memos, press releases and media advisories Experience copywriting and creating engaging social media content Strong organizational and planning skills Ability to assist in administrative duties including reporting performance data, scheduling social media content and updating media page on website Current enrollment in a related BS or master’s degree is preferred Basic working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office Products Keeper Security, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and participant in the U.S. Federal E-Verify program. Security We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, consistent with our industry leading security standards. 7. Retention We keep your data for 24 months from your last application activity, then delete or anonymize it. Exceptions: You opt into our talent database for further retention by providing consent (extended retention) You're hired (transfers to employee records) 8.
