What you'll do

  • Source and qualify high-potential leads using internal resources and third-party databases (e.g., Dodge) and specification platforms (MasterSpec, SpecLink).
  • Develop vertical analyses and profiles for architectural firms, building owners, and facility managers to identify stakeholders in commercial roofing specifications.
  • Establish tracking mechanisms within construction publications to schedule/allocate long-cycle projects to field sales.
  • Monitor and report on pipeline health indicators focusing on lead-to-opportunity conversion and handoffs to Support Reps and Field Sales.
  • Promote and sell GAF Commercial service offerings including design/specification support, roof drainage design, sustainability and compliance solutions.
  • Engage strategically with stakeholders (architects, specifiers) to integrate products into early-stage construction documents.
  • Serve as a consultant during the specifying process to balance client preferences and technical requirements.
  • Involve Building Design and Science teams for technical guidance and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Maintain alignment across GAF Commercial and Siplast sales teams to monitor projects from design through bidding.
  • Partner with local sales to execute networking events and AIA presentations using marketing collateral.
  • Ensure data integrity in Salesforce by documenting project details, managing lead handoffs, and tracking relationship milestones.
  • Leverage historical data and market analytics to refine target company types, verticals, and decision-makers.
  • Track market trends and competitor products to build "Battle Cards" for inside and field teams.
  • Utilize social media and digital platforms for market insights and communication with prospective clients.
  • Help execute targeted GTM campaigns by aligning market data with sales scripting.

What they require

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in GTM Sales Analysis, Sales Operations, or Specification Sales within commercial construction, roofing, or building materials industries.
  • Ability to travel: 5-10%.
  • Proven experience with commercial construction databases (Dodge, ConstructConnect), specification software (SpecLink, MasterSpec), and CRM platforms (Salesforce).
  • Strong computer skills including Google Business Suite.
  • Familiarity with architectural design processes, construction documents, and building science principles (highly preferred).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and experience presenting technical information (such as AIA programs) to professional audiences.
  • High degree of self-motivation and organizational skill to manage a multi-brand, multi-territory pipeline remotely.
  • Works under close or moderate supervision/coaching; can solve routine problems using established procedures/guidelines.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in GTM Sales Analysis, Sales Operations, or Specification Sales within the commercial construction, roofing, or building materials industries.
  • Ability to travel: 5-10%
  • Proven experience utilizing commercial construction databases (Dodge, ConstructConnect), specification software (SpecLink, MasterSpec), and CRM platforms (Salesforce).
  • Familiarity with architectural design processes, construction documents, and building science principles is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting technical information (such as AIA programs) to professional audiences.
  • Works under close or moderate supervision/coaching; needs guidance on more complex tasks.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without need for employer sponsored visa (work permit).
