What you'll do

  • Develop and manage end-to-end release timelines and milestones.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (product, engineering, QA, support, operations) to align on release scope and quality goals.
  • Manage release quality goals and track release checkpoints including Definition of Done (DoD) reviews.
  • Facilitate go/no-go meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders and executives via dashboards, reports, and briefings.
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI agents to automate release activities (Branch-Diffs reporting, checklist validation, ticket triage, readiness checks).
  • Automate release readiness end-to-end and standardize release processes and tooling.
  • Partner with engineering and platform teams to integrate AI agents into CI/CD and release tooling.
  • Confirm completion of documentation, training, and internal handoffs before releases.
  • Create and manage deployment tickets for production releases and hotfixes, coordinating approvals.
  • Ensure release activities meet compliance and security requirements and support audits.
  • Lead customer defect triage meetings and prioritize/track issue resolution.
  • Monitor post-release metrics and customer feedback to improve release processes and product quality.

What they require

  • 1 to 3 years of release management experience, preferably in cloud-based software development environments.
  • Hands-on ability to build and deploy AI agents (e.g., using LLM APIs, low-code agent platforms, or scripting/automation frameworks) to automate release activities.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex release processes in SaaS, PaaS, or cloud-native environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple releases and deadlines simultaneously.
