What you'll do

  • Architect and deliver enterprise-grade Kubernetes platforms deployed across hybrid AWS and Azure environments, supporting mission-critical workloads.
  • Design, implement, and operate Kubernetes-based infrastructure to support both containerized and virtualized workloads, leveraging KubeVirt to unify VM and container management, reducing infrastructure complexity and improving operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain production observability platforms to improve mean time to resolution (MTTR) and overall system reliability.
  • Establish and enforce DevSecOps standards, including Harbor registry security, image scanning, container security controls, access management, RBAC enforcement, and compliance baselines.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code, standardizing environments and reducing deployment times.
  • Implement and operate Argo CD-based GitOps deployment workflows to ensure reproducible and auditable releases across environments.
  • Lead cloud modernization initiatives, migrating legacy platforms to cloud-native architectures.
  • Define and maintain organizational cloud governance, security policies, and compliance frameworks.
  • Provide technical leadership through mentoring, technical design reviews, and collaboration with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
  • Implement and support multi-network pod configurations using Multus CNI to enable complex VM and container networking use cases.
  • Implement and manage GitOps-based CI/CD pipelines using Argo CD and Helm to support controlled, auditable infrastructure changes.
  • Develop and maintain reusable reference architectures and automation frameworks for repeatable Kubernetes deployments.
  • Design and operate Kubernetes networking solutions for bare-metal and hybrid clusters, including MetalLB-based load balancing.
  • Troubleshoot advanced Kubernetes networking issues involving CNI plugins, secondary interfaces, IPAM, and traffic routing.
  • Integrate networking configurations with KubeVirt workloads requiring multiple network attachments.

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • Five (5) years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in job offered, Software Engineer, Software Developer, Systems Engineer, or in a related occupation.
  • Academic training or work experience in the following: Design and operation of production level Kubernetes clusters for enterprise workloads
  • Academic training or work experience in the following: AWS or Azure production infrastructure, including hybrid or multi-cloud architecture design
  • Academic training or work experience in the following: CI/CD pipeline implementation using Argo CD and JFrog Artifactory for automated application and infrastructure deployments
  • Academic training or work experience in the following: Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible for large-scale environment automation
  • Academic training or work experience in the following: Linux system administration in production environments
  • Academic training or work experience in the following: DevSecOps practices, including Harbor registry security, access management, and compliance alignment
  • Academic training or work experience in the following: Monitoring and observability platforms for production systems
