What you'll do

  • Oversee the day-to-day tasks related to clinical revenue management and charge capture optimization projects
  • Apply both your technical expertise and interpersonal skills to support our clients
  • Leverage advanced technology tools to deliver high-quality analysis and process improvement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our clients' revenue cycles
  • Collaborate with various levels of client leadership

What they require

  • A bachelor's degree in business or a health-related field is required
  • 3-5 years of deep healthcare experience is required, with a focus on professional billing coding and charging
  • Previous experience in a professional services or consulting role is essential, demonstrating a proven track record in delivering client-focused solutions
  • Expertise in professional revenue cycle management, with a specific focus on coding and charge capture processes, is required
  • Strong technical knowledge in your area of expertise
  • Relevant licensure or certifications (e.g., CPC, COC, CPPM, CRCR, CIRCC, RHIA) is expected
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, guide cross-functional teams, and interact with all levels of client and internal staff
  • Exceptional financial and analytical skills are required, with a strong aptitude for using data and data analytics tools (e.g., Excel) to drive decision-making and process improvement
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • This position requires up to 20% travel to client sites as needed
  • Highly desirable: MBA, MHA, and/or MPH
  • Preferred: hands-on experience in Professional Billing coding / coding auditing, charging, provider coding education, or experience managing a physician practice or clinic
  • Preferred: Experience with professional clinical documentation and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems (e.g., Athena, Epic)
  • Preferred: Prior experience in sales or business development is a plus, showcasing the ability to foster client relationships and grow business opportunities
