The Sr. Client Success Executive serves as the voice of the client to Altera and the voice of Altera to the client. This role is assigned to Altera’s largest, most complex, and most fragile client relationships.
Overview The Sr. Client Success Executive serves as the voice of the client to Altera and the voice of Altera to the client. This role is assigned to Altera’s largest, most complex, and most fragile client relationships. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Sr. Client Success Executive connects the client’s clinical, operational, financial, and strategic priorities with Altera’s solutions and capabilities. This position requires exceptional executive presence, sound judgment, commercial acumen, and the ability to lead through influence. Key Responsibilities Serves as the client’s primary advocate within Altera and develops trusted relationships with C-suite and senior leaders. Owns the client strategy, including relationship health, adoption, retention, value realization, KPIs, and overall client sentiment. Leads strategic operational reviews and roadmap planning focused on business outcomes, future priorities, risks, and required decisions. Establishes executive governance and coordinates execution across Support, Services, Product, R&D, Cloud, Finance, Sales, and Altera leadership. Proactively identifies client risk and leads recovery efforts and executive escalations through resolution. Translates complex client, technical, and operational matters into clear executive communication and actionable internal priorities. Partners with Sales to identify and advance renewal and expansion opportunities that deliver measurable client value. Supports Accounts Receivable efforts in partnership with Finance. Represents Altera leadership during onsite engagements, tradeshows, conferences, and other strategic client interactions. Provides coaching and guidance to other Client Success Executives and models senior-level client leadership. Qualifications Experience:Ten or more years of experience leading complex enterprise client relationships, preferably within healthcare technology. Demonstrated success building C-suite relationships and stabilizing fragile or at-risk clients. Strong executive presence, commercial judgment, and ability to influence at all levels. Proven ability to drive accountability across a complex, matrixed organization. Exceptional communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills. Working Arrangements This is a remote position. Standard work week or as defined by assignment requirements. May require work outside of standard business hours to meet client and business needs. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD, technology), for example. What you'll do
