What you'll do

  • Lead data center due diligence, planning, and design teams to deliver projects that meet the client’s requirements, on schedule and to a high degree of quality.
  • Design disciplines to include prototype development, test fitting, mass grading, stormwater management, utility prepositioning and design, and on- and off-site roadways.
  • Develop and enforce multi-site project and program management plans; proactively manage and communicate change.
  • Early identification and mitigation of project risks and development of creative solutions; host and attend meetings with clients and external stakeholders.
  • Coach junior staff, develop trusting relationships with clients and partners, and foster a culture of accountability and innovation.
  • Lead data center due diligence, planning, and design teams (prototype development, mass grading, stormwater management, utility prepositioning and design, roadways).
  • Develop and enforce multi-site project and program management plans.
  • Host and attend meetings with clients and external stakeholders; proactively manage and communicate change.
  • Early identification and mitigation of project risks; provide creative solutions and project updates to stakeholders.
  • Develop technical and financial proposals; coach junior staff and foster a culture of accountability and innovation.

What they require

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, plus eight (8) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) License.
  • Demonstrated experience with colocation and hyperscale data center projects.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Certification; Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Professional; active or recent leadership in data center trade organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering plus eight (8) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Certification; Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Professional; leadership in data center/mission-critical trade organizations.
