Segenhof is a Switzerland-based financial infrastructure platform and is identifying its senior technical leadership ahead of an upcoming funding round. The CTO will own all technology including software development, system architecture, and technology strategy across digital banking, settlement, custody, and treasury systems.
📋 Responsibilities include:
- Own all technology at Segenhof covering software development, system architecture, and technology strategy
- Define the technical foundation of the platform across digital banking, settlement, custody, and treasury systems
- Set technical standards, select technologies and infrastructure
- Safeguard security and regulatory compliance
- Hire and mentor technical talent as the company scales and build the engineering organization
- Present the company's technology to investors and institutional partners
🔑 Requirements:
- Proven experience designing, building, and scaling complex software systems while owning technical direction end to end
- Hands-on experience in one or more core domains: digital banking, trading and securities systems, crypto and blockchain infrastructure, or financial settlement, clearing, and payment platforms
- Understanding of Swiss holding, banking, and financial infrastructure with comfort in a highly regulated, security-sensitive environment
- Exposure to custody, settlement, and treasury systems, digital asset instruments, precious-metals infrastructure, or Sharia-compliant finance is a strong advantage
- Leadership experience building and managing engineering teams or readiness to take on that responsibility
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, security best practices, and DevOps
- Excellent communication with the ability to present complex topics to non-technical and institutional audiences
- No specific degree required; capability and relevant experience are valued over formal credentials
