Executive compliance leader with 10-15+ years building compliance programs in multi-state digital health, telehealth, healthtech, or pharmacy-adjacent environments. Must own enterprise compliance across healthcare, pharmacy, privacy-adjacent, security-adjacent, and commercial activities for a US-remote role.

What you'll do

  • Lead the Compliance organization across Healthcare, Pharmacy, Privacy, and Audit.
  • Establish the compliance function vision, staffing plan, budget, and success metrics.
  • Create and maintain a policy, standards, and SOP library mapped to legal and regulatory obligations including HIPAA/HITECH, state privacy, state practice of medicine, telehealth/telepharmacy rules, CLIA, and FDA/FTC/DEA touchpoints as applicable.
  • Ensure version control, ownership, and training coverage for compliance policies and procedures.
  • Establish continuous monitoring, internal audits, and issue management workflows.
  • Embed compliance into product development, launch gates, marketing/advertising, vendor onboarding, and new market entry.
  • Act as a consultative partner who enables smart growth decisions and blocks only genuinely high-risk initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Security and Legal on investigations, breach response, regulator engagement, and consumer communications.
  • Lead post-incident lessons learned.
  • Define due diligence, contracting standards, and ongoing oversight for vendors, prescribers, partner pharmacies, and other downstream entities.
  • Deliver role-based compliance training.
  • Cultivate an open-reporting culture with non-retaliation, hotline oversight, and trend analysis.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact to relevant regulators and accreditation bodies.
  • Monitor regulatory change and prepare the business for it.
  • Provide updates to the Board as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • 10-15+ years building and leading compliance programs in technology-forward, multi-state healthcare or pharmacy-adjacent environments such as digital health, wearables, telehealth, virtual care platforms, healthtech, consumer wellness with medical claims, or eRx/fulfillment.
