The Sub-Region Manager (SRM) is the leader of the activity on the define perimeter, in charge of Phileo’s strategy in the perimeter to drive sales, ensure profitability, and meet Sub-Region market needs. As Sub-Region Director, he/she drives sales growth, profitability, and market expansion for Phileo in the Sub-Region. The SRM develops and executes commercial strategies, leads a high-performing sales team, and ensures customer intimacy while aligning with Phileo’s global objectives. The SRM manages area managers, themselves managing local sales teams. This role requires strategic leadership with strong commercial acumen, team management skills, and a deep understanding of the animal health and nutrition sector. He/she is facilitating the high-level relationship with customers. Final objective is to growth business of the Sub-Region.
Education/experience required Master’s degree or Engineer Diploma or equivalent experience Minimum 10 years’ experience in management of sales team. Strong background & knowledge in animal nutrition and health, knowledge of the target markets and their players. Structured and able to plan all involved activities in the long term. Track record in action plans development & roll-out. Ability to understand the total business chain; ability to decode customer organization & identify influencers & decision - makers. Solid experience in sales & negotiation role. Ability to manage and coordinate sales team in a multicultural environment and remote based team. Fluent English is essential and any other language is a plus. Soft skills required Entrepreneurship and a creative, customer-oriented solution provider. Excellent team building skills. Strong and diplomatic communicant. Open minded, Ability to analyze and synthetize. Result driven. Ability to build relationships with customers and an opportunity seeker with/for the customer.
Scope of responsibility: Central & East Europe & Central Asia Sub-Region, part of EMEAI Region (Europe, Middle East, Africa and India). Frequent business travels: 50 % of the time.
