What you'll do

  • Comply with cancer registry operations as directed by the Senior Cancer Registrar.
  • Perform registry work in compliance with facility, State and Commission on Cancer requirements.
  • Manage time effectively and prioritize workload to meet registry deadlines.
  • Maintain institutional confidentiality and work independently with attention to detail.

  • Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR®) through NCRA required.
  • 3 years minimum relevant healthcare experience for Associate’s degree/coding certificate holders; 5 years for high school diploma holders.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and tumor registry coding principles (ICD-O, FORDS, SEER).
  • Extensive knowledge and advanced education of American College of Surgeons (ACoS) and Commission on Cancer (COC) accreditation standards.
