What you'll do

  • Design and implement features across the Mir stack
  • Debug, track down, and fix issues
  • Participate in code and architectural review
  • Create and improve tests and performance benchmarks
  • Create and maintain documentation
  • Engage with the open source community and commercial partners
  • Collaborate proactively with a distributed team

What they require

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Computer Science, STEM, or similar
  • 2+ years of working experience
  • Excellent modern C++ and Rust programming skills
  • Familiarity with Linux as a development and deployment platform
  • Ability to collaborate remotely with a diverse team and stay motivated, productive, and organized
  • Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events up to two weeks long
  • Ideally experience building window compositing systems or graphics device experience
  • Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency patterns
  • Proven ability to consistently deliver robust code to production
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
