Coinbase is seeking a Business Operations Senior Associate on the Business Operations & Strategy team within the Institutional group to partner with senior leadership on high-priority strategic and operational challenges. The role focuses on working with Institutional product and sales leaders to structure complex problems, build quantitative business cases, and translate data into executive-level recommendations that shape product and segment strategy.

📋 Responsibilities include:

• Structure complex, ambiguous strategic problems for leadership and develop actionable recommendations backed by data and quantitative modeling
• Build business cases and financial models that identify new opportunities and inform Institutional product and go-to-market strategy
• Develop and maintain deep understanding of competitive positioning, peer benchmarks, and the evolving crypto landscape
• Design and implement experiments to validate hypotheses, measure impact, and drive measurable changes across Institutional products
• Own problems end-to-end from framing through analysis, recommendation, and implementation
• Strengthen team capabilities by improving processes, frameworks, and operational tooling

🔑 Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or product strategy with ownership of end-to-end strategic workstreams
• Proven ability to build quantitative models and business cases that have influenced executive or leadership decisions
• Familiarity with institutional finance, capital markets, or crypto/digital assets markets
• Track record of delivering clear, concise written and verbal recommendations to senior stakeholders in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs
