Establishes enterprise standards, templates, tools, and quality expectations for requirements, user stories, process documentation, and other business analysis deliverables. Aligns Business Analyst capacity to programs and teams based on product and delivery needs, while partnering with product, technology, and business leaders to clarify priorities, expectations, and success measures. Drives communication resolves escalated issues related to scope or dependencies and advances continuous improvement across the Business Analysis discipline Essential Functions: Oversees and monitors the workload and performance of assigned Business Analysis (BA) team and performs all duties expected of a people leader at EMC. Develops enterprise expectations and standards for the Business Analyst discipline, including templates, tools, and quality expectations for requirements, user stories, and process documentation. Aligns BA team members to programs and/or teams based on product and delivery needs and adjusts alignment as demand evolves. Ensures BA team members are effectively embedded within Agile teams to influence and drive BA standards and practices and contributing to business unit outcomes. Establishes and enforces standards for business analysis deliverables ensuring outputs are clear, testable, and aligned to business outcomes. Ensures BAs are effectively leading elicitation, analysis, and documentation activities across initiatives of varying size and complexity. Drives strong inter‑team communication across business, PMO, BPM, and delivery teams. Facilitates alignment and resolves escalated conflicts related to priorities, scope, or dependencies. Serves as an escalation point for complex analysis challenges and opportunities for improvement. Partners with product, technology, and business leaders to align priorities, delivery expectations, and success measures. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience Ten years of experience in business analysis or related experience Experience leading or mentoring Business Analysts Experience working within Agile delivery environments Experience partnering with business, product, and technology leadership Professional certifications preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong knowledge of business analysis practices and techniques Understanding of requirements management and user story development Understanding of software development lifecycles Strong facilitation and communication skills Ability to lead people and develop talent Ability to influence without direct authority Ability to balance delivery oversight with capability development The hiring salary range for this position will vary based on geographic location, falling within either of the following: $103,954 - $149,372 or $114,895 - $164,309 A hiring range represents a subset of the full salary range. The actual salary will depend on several factors, including relevant education, skills, and experience of an applicant, geographic location, and business needs.
