MAIN PUROPOSE OF JOB
The Brazilian Portuguese Patent Language Lead is a critical position that requires a strong background in translation, localization, and copy-editing tasks with a focus on patent/legal documents. This professional is responsible for translating, copy editing or reviewing complex patent/legal materials from English into Brazilian Portuguese, ensuring the highest quality and accuracy of the deliverables to client. This role works closely with Quality, Program Squads, Talent, vendors and other stakeholders to provide precise language support for patent-related matters.
This professional ensures that the expected level of translation quality is maintained, and the product delivered to the client should always meet its intended purpose, while closely monitoring that translation expenses remain within budget.
The Brazilian Portuguese Patent Language Lead understands legal requirements and engages the production team in the fulfillment of these requirements, crafting client solutions based on the Welo Global Four Pillars of Customer Service, Quality, Innovation and Global Teamwork.
What you'll do
- Translate, copy edit or review complex patent/legal materials from English into Brazilian Portuguese, ensuring the highest quality and accuracy of the deliverables to client.
- Work closely with Quality, Program Squads, Talent, vendors and other stakeholders to provide precise language support for patent-related matters.
