Independent Contractor – CPT-11380 Bookkeeping & QuickBooks Virtual Assistant/Business Support VA/Junior-Senior Level (Remote).

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. A bookkeeping and consulting firm primarily serving restaurant and hospitality clients is seeking a part-time Bookkeeping & QuickBooks Virtual Assistant to support recurring financial data entry and administrative workflows.

The immediate priority is straightforward but important: accurately entering daily restaurant sales information into QuickBooks Online based on reports provided by the client's customers. The client has an established process for these entries and will provide direction on how the information should be recorded.

This position will begin at 10 hours per week as the client introduces virtual assistance into his business for the first time. The intention is to gradually delegate additional repeatable bookkeeping and business support processes as SOPs are established, with the potential for the position to grow significantly in hours over time.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

QuickBooks & Bookkeeping Support

• Enter daily restaurant sales activity into QuickBooks Online
• Review client-provided sales reports and accurately transfer required information
• Follow established account mapping and data-entry procedures
• Maintain accurate and consistent bookkeeping records
• Identify missing, unclear, or inconsistent information for client review
• Assist with catch-up entries and outstanding bookkeeping data as needed

Data Entry & Recordkeeping

• Perform accurate recurring financial data entry
• Organize supporting reports and documentation
• Maintain consistency across recurring entries
• Review completed work for accuracy before submission
• Follow documented processes and client-provided SOPs

Administrative & Business Support

• Assist with additional repeatable administrative tasks as they are introduced
• Learn and follow new workflows developed by the client
• Help document recurring processes as appropriate
• Support additional bookkeeping and business operations projects as the role develops

Future Growth Opportunities

• Assume additional bookkeeping and administrative responsibilities as workflows are established
• Support other businesses and projects managed by the client
• Potentially assist with lead generation, appointment setting, or outbound calling if the selected candidate has relevant experience
• Increase weekly hours as additional responsibilities are delegated

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

Skills

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

• QuickBooks Online experience required
• Previous bookkeeping or accounting support experience required
• Financial data-entry experience required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience working with recurring transaction or sales data preferred
• Restaurant or hospitality bookkeeping experience is a plus but not required
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Lead generation, appointment setting, or outbound calling experience is a plus for potential future responsibilities

Work Schedule

• Contracted Hours per Week: 10 Hours (Hours expected to increase as additional workflows are delegated)
• Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday (unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing)
• Daily Working Time: Flexible EST Business Hours

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

Terms of Engagement

• Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
• This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
• All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
