What you'll do

  • Address the medical necessity of treatment requests.
  • Address, in appeals, the medical necessity of previously denied services.
  • Complete specialty physician reviews through a telework caseload customized to your schedule.
  • Provide advisory-only opinions; no doctor/patient relationship is established and no treatment is provided.
  • Conduct clinical decision-making for determinations/reports.
  • Address the medical necessity of treatment requests
  • Address the medical necessity of previously denied services (in appeals)

What they require

  • Current, unrestricted Texas Medical License.
  • Active Practice.
  • Board Certified in Neurological Surgery.
  • Current, unrestricted Tennessee Medical License
  • Active Practice
