What you'll do

  • Architect, design, develop, and implement robust and scalable Blue Prism automations adhering to our best practices and development standards.
  • Translate business requirements into accurate and detailed technical designs.
  • Lead and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring adherence to standards, and manage defect resolution efficiently.
  • Provide 3rd line technical support for complex issues related to deployed customer automations.
  • Manage development tasks across multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and reporting progress effectively.
  • Act as a technical point of contact and trusted advisor for clients during project engagements.
  • Consult with clients to promote the Robotic Operating Model (ROM) and embed Blue Prism development best practices within their organization.
  • Design and deliver targeted Knowledge Support workshops and enablement sessions to empower client technical teams, enabling self-sufficiency and future growth.
  • Proactively identify opportunities within client organizations to expand their automation footprint and leverage the full potential of the Blue Prism platform.
  • Evaluate customers Intelligent Automation capabilities and technical infrastructures in comparison to Blue Prism standards using proven internal Assessments
  • Ensure a positive client experience through high-quality deliverables and effective communication.
  • Take accountability for the technical quality and architectural soundness of automations delivered on assigned projects.
  • Be a part of client, partner, or internal development teams on projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and specification compliance.
  • Perform rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) reviews on peer developers' automations.
  • Actively contribute to the definition, refinement, and dissemination of Blue Prism development standards and best practices internally and externally.
  • Champion and share reusable automation components and configurations via the Blue Prism Digital Exchange.
  • Identify, design, and develop automation solutions for internal Professional Services processes.
  • Participate actively in the testing and feedback process for new Blue Prism product releases and features.
  • Contribute to the technical enablement and upskilling of other internal Blue Prism teams.

What they require

  • Minimum 3 years overall software development experience.
  • Proven experience leading software delivery projects or significant contributions to large implementations.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English are mandatory.
  • Understanding of relational databases and SQL (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Understanding of Web Services (REST/SOAP) and API integration.
  • Good client-facing skills with ability to act as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and creating high-quality documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand client needs/challenges, assess their automation journey, identify roadblocks, and co-create actionable plans with defined outcomes.
  • Proven ability to effectively mentor and enable client teams towards self-sufficiency.
  • Must be proficient in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
  • Logical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities with a methodical approach.
  • Experience participating in UAT, managing defects, and adhering to change control procedures.
  • Ability to manage tasks across multiple projects concurrently in fast-paced environments.
  • Highly adaptable and flexible.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
