Part-time bilingual English/Spanish medical receptionist and executive assistant for a physical therapy practice. Must have previous physical therapy practice experience and be based in Colombia. About 20 hours per week, remote.

What you'll do

  • Manage a high-volume shared email inbox and prioritize incoming requests.
  • Answer inbound patient calls professionally in both English and Spanish.
  • Communicate with Spanish-speaking patients, referral sources, and providers.
  • Process and coordinate new patient referrals.
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update internal systems.
  • Escalate urgent patient matters appropriately.
  • Provide administrative support to the practice leadership.
  • Coordinate calendars, meetings, and daily priorities.
  • Organize documents and maintain accurate administrative records.
  • Assist with day-to-day operational tasks and workflow coordination.
  • Support special projects and additional administrative duties as assigned.

What they require

  • Previous experience working in a physical therapy practice is required.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, Executive Assistant, Intake Coordinator, or Healthcare Administrative Assistant.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Friendly, professional, and patient-focused.
  • Highly organized with excellent multitasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Comfortable handling high-volume patient and administrative communications.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and able to prioritize effectively.
