What you'll do

  • Answer inbound patient calls in English and Spanish
  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments
  • Register new patients and collect demographic information
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Maintain accurate patient records in EMR/EHR
  • Handle patient concerns and administrative requests
  • Manage incoming faxes and messages
  • Follow up on missed appointments
  • Answer inbound patient calls professionally and courteously.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
  • Follow up with patients regarding intake forms and outstanding documentation.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system (Tebra).
  • Respond to general patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Communicate scheduling updates and documentation requirements to patients.
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

What they require

  • 3+ years of experience in US healthcare
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written)
  • Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist
  • Experience in medical practice, clinic, hospital, or outpatient setting
  • Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
  • Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new healthcare systems
  • Ability to work within US time zones
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Scheduler, Medical Receptionist, or in a similar healthcare administrative role.
  • Experience using Tebra EMR is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and professional phone etiquette.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Friendly, professional, and patient-focused.
  • Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound patient calls.
  • Organized and able to multitask efficiently.
  • Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented.

  • Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (U.S. Central Time)
