StarPago is expanding its payment capabilities in Bangladesh and is seeking an experienced Local Payments & Wallet Operations Manager. The company needs someone who can independently build and run local payment operations while supporting clients mainly in online gaming and Web3 sectors under full local compliance.
📋 Responsibilities include:
- Develop partnerships with banks, PSPs, payment gateways and MFS providers
- Work with bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay and other local payment channels
- Handle merchant or company account onboarding and payment integration
- Negotiate fees, settlement cycles and commercial terms
- Manage settlement, reconciliation, daily operations and risk monitoring
- Help establish compliant and sustainable local payment structures
🔑 Requirements:
- Strong payment-industry connections and proven hands-on experience (not only research or technical knowledge)
- Comfortable supporting online gaming and Web3 sectors while ensuring all activities comply with Bangladesh’s applicable laws and licensed payment-provider requirements
