Backend Developer (Node.js)

You are proactive, enjoy solving complex technical challenges, and are committed to building secure, maintainable, and scalable backend applications. You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience. 4+ years of professional experience developing backend applications with Node.js. Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs. Experience working with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, Amazon SQS, or similar platforms. Experience deploying and maintaining applications on AWS. Experience building distributed systems and/or Microservices architectures. Experience using Git and working within Agile development environments. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher. You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js. Build, enhance, and support RESTful APIs. Design, implement, and maintain asynchronous messaging workflows using RabbitMQ or similar technologies. Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications running on AWS. Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in Agile environments. Promote engineering best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of backend services.

4+ years of Node.js development experience. Experience developing REST APIs. Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, Amazon SQS, or similar messaging technologies. AWS experience. Experience with Distributed Systems or Microservices. Git and Agile experience. Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
