About the Role

As our B2B Solutions Marketing Manager, you'll own how PubNub talks about the problems we solve. You'll turn a broad technical platform into clear, problem-led solution narratives for the industries where we win while helping shape our Real-Time Infrastructure for AI story.

You'll develop positioning and messaging that translates complex technical capabilities into relevant outcomes for developers, technical decision-makers and business buyers. Your work will power sales conversations, events, account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns and AI-native discovery.

Working closely with Developer Relations (DevRel), Product, Sales, Design and the wider Marketing team, you'll initially focus on a small number of priority verticals before expanding over time.

Success in this role means creating clearer positioning, improving pipeline quality, enabling buyer-first conversations and helping grow the solutions marketing function as it scales.

Key Responsibilities

Build problem-led solution narratives and positioning for priority industries and use cases. Focus initially on one to two strategic verticals, adapting messaging to their specific customer problems, buying committees and business outcomes. Develop and own PubNub's Real-Time Infrastructure for AI positioning and messaging. Translate technical capabilities into clear customer value for developers, technical leaders and business stakeholders. Create sales and event enablement materials including decks, one-pagers, solution briefs, talk tracks, case studies and competitive messaging. Partner with Developer Relations and Product to ensure messaging is technically accurate, credible and grounded in verifiable product capabilities and customer proof. Equip account-based marketing (ABM), field marketing and sales programmes with tailored messaging for target accounts and industries. Research customers, competitors and markets to understand buyer problems and identify opportunities to strengthen positioning. Test buyer language, positioning and solution narratives and iterate based on customer feedback, campaign performance and conversion. Partner with Product and Legal to ensure customer-facing messaging remains accurate and on-claim.

About You

Minimum Requirements

3+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, solutions marketing, technical marketing or a closely related role within SaaS or technology. Demonstrated experience developing positioning, messaging, value propositions or solution narratives for technical products. Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear customer problems, use cases and business outcomes. Comfort working with technical products and understanding how developers and other technical audiences evaluate and adopt software. Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales or other technical and commercial teams. Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to make complex concepts clear without losing technical accuracy.

Nice to Have Skills

Experience with APIs, developer tools, cloud platforms, infrastructure or other technically complex software. Familiarity with AI applications, AI agents or the broader agentic application landscape. Experience adapting positioning and messaging across different industries or verticals. Experience with account-based marketing (ABM), field marketing or enterprise go-to-market programmes. Experience creating sales enablement and competitive messaging. Evidence of positioning or messaging contributing to improved pipeline quality, conversion or sales effectiveness.
