Join us as an AWS Solution Architect and help us build resilient, scalable, and secure cloud solutions. You will join a 6-month transformation initiative focused on simplifying an AWS network environment, improving security, maintainability and scalability. The project involves designing a streamlined architecture with a reduced number of subnets and controlled connectivity, followed by a phased migration of services. What you will be doing: Design and define a simplified AWS network architecture, including VPC structure, subnet strategy and connectivity model, with a focus on reducing complexity and improving maintainability. Own and deliver a target architecture that enhances security posture and enables scalable, controlled service communication. Define principles for secure and controlled connectivity, including network segmentation aligned with best practices. Develop a migration approach for transitioning services from the existing environment to the target architecture, ensuring continuity and risk mitigation. Identify dependencies, risks and constraints across systems and environments and incorporate them into the migration and architecture design. Contribute to the implementation of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including transitioning from existing CloudFormation templates where relevant. Shape the evolution of CI/CD pipelines, supporting coexistence and optimization of existing tooling such as Jenkins and Concourse. Ensure that the architecture supports secure service-to-service communication and aligns with AWS security best practices. Validate implemented solutions against the target architecture and defined principles. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure architectural alignment and remove blockers where needed. Continuously improve architecture, processes and tooling to support long-term scalability, maintainability and efficiency. You are a good match if you have: Strong hands-on AWS Solution Architecture experience, especially in AWS networking, infrastructure simplification and migration-focused environments Advanced knowledge of AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing and security groups Experience defining and executing migration strategies for complex environments Strong Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code experience Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and Concourse Experience with container and serverless technologies, including Docker, ECS and Lambda Solid understanding of the software engineering lifecycle AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is a plus About you: Strong ownership and accountability for architecture decisions Able to operate at both strategic and hands-on level Comfortable working in complex and evolving environments Strong communicator, able to align technical and non-technical stakeholders Analytical, collaborative and delivery-focused in your approach
