What you'll do

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team responsible for requirements management, release management, and project execution.
  • Partner with senior business and technology leaders to prioritize initiatives, manage delivery portfolios, and align technology investments with business outcomes.
  • Own and mature the enterprise release management function, including release planning, scheduling, governance, risk management, and deployment readiness.
  • Establish standardized release management processes, controls, and reporting to improve delivery predictability and quality.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of technology releases across applications, infrastructure, and business systems.
  • Drive release readiness reviews, dependency management, risk mitigation planning, and post-release assessments.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive release communication plans for business and technology stakeholders.
  • Present program status, release outcomes, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Lead the gathering, prioritization, and validation of technical and functional requirements for strategic technology initiatives.
  • Lead complex technology projects and programs from initiation through implementation and operational transition.
  • Utilize SAFe Agile 6.0 and traditional project delivery methodologies as appropriate.
  • Leverage reporting and analytics to monitor progress, identify risks, and support executive decision-making.
  • Support organizational readiness activities to drive adoption of new technology solutions.

What they require

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology delivery, project/program management, release management, or related technology leadership roles, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
  • PMP, SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Release Train Engineer (RTE), or equivalent certifications preferred.
  • Experience implementing enterprise release management frameworks and governance models preferred.
  • Extensive experience leading large-scale technology programs, enterprise initiatives, and cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Release Management, Project Management, and Technical Requirements Management within complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile SAFe 6 and traditional project management methodologies.
  • Proven success managing technology portfolios, release governance processes, and organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working closely with architecture, engineering, infrastructure and business teams to deliver enterprise technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of IT operations, software delivery lifecycles, governance frameworks, and technology strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage risks, dependencies, budgets, resources, and competing priorities across multiple initiatives.
  • Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing strategic planning with operational execution.
