Responsibilities:
- Mobile test automation: Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for native iOS and Android apps (Kotlin/Kaspresso, Swift/XCUITest, or comparable stacks), following Page Object Model and stable test architecture.
- CI/CD integration: Wire automated mobile suites into pipelines (build triggers, artifacts, flaky-test hygiene, reporting), and keep tests reliable for release trains.
- Feature and regression coverage: Plan and execute test design for new features and releases — smoke, regression, and targeted exploratory testing when risks are high.
- API and backend validation: Test client–server contracts, edge cases, and integrations; validate APIs and backend behavior that power the mobile experience.
- Quality signals: Work with analytics, monitoring, and logging (e.g., Amplitude, Sentry, Kibana) to reproduce issues, assess impact, and improve observability for QA.
- Issue ownership: Triage defects independently, narrow reproduction steps, assess severity, and communicate clearly to engineering and product.
- Fintech & security awareness: Apply domain judgment for wallets, payments, and asset flows; flag risks that affect user funds, compliance, or privacy.
- AI-assisted QA: Use LLMs and Copilot-style tools pragmatically for test ideas, documentation, analysis, and routine automation work — without compromising rigor.
- Collaboration: Partner with developers, product, and other QA engineers on requirements, testability, and release readiness in an Agile environment.
What We Expect From You:
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in mobile application testing automation (iOS and Android).
- Hands-on automation: Solid experience writing automated tests for native mobile apps using Kotlin/Kaspresso (Android) and/or Swift/XCUITest (iOS).
- Architecture & patterns: Strong understanding of mobile automation architecture, Page Object Model, and test design patterns.
- CI/CD: Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- API & backend: Experience in API and backend testing and solid understanding of client-server interaction.
- Methodologies: Knowledge of testing methodologies (black-box, white-box, regression, smoke, exploratory).
- Fintech domain: Experience testing fintech products — payment apps, crypto wallets, banking apps, or similar.
- Observability: Proficiency with analytics, monitoring, and logging tools (e.g., Amplitude, Sentry, Kibana).
- Mindset: Product mindset — user happiness and software quality are genuine priorities, not formalities.
- Communication: Strong ability to triage issues independently and communicate findings clearly.
- Web3 familiarity: Familiarity with blockchain, crypto wallets, or Web3 products.
- AI in QA: Hands-on experience integrating AI tools into day-to-day QA workflows (e.g., LLM-assisted test generation, AI-powered test analysis, Copilot-style tooling).
- Languages: Fluent Russian and Intermediate (B1) or higher proficiency in English.
Nice to have:
- Experience with AI-based visual testing or anomaly detection in mobile UIs.
- Contributions to open-source testing frameworks or automation tooling.
- Experience with performance or security testing of mobile applications.
