Associate Mental Health Therapist Location: Louisville, KY Work Setting: Fully Remote Salary: $65,000–$75,000 per year Schedule: Monday–Friday Job Summary This fully remote opportunity is available for an Associate Mental Health Therapist who is ready to provide thoughtful, client-centered behavioral health services while progressing toward independent clinical practice. The role offers a structured environment where developing clinicians can build confidence, strengthen professional skills, and receive ongoing supervision. The successful candidate will manage a telehealth caseload, conduct assessments, provide individualized therapy, maintain compliant documentation, and coordinate appropriate referrals. This position is well suited to a clinician who is organized, compassionate, responsive to supervision, and committed to high-quality care. Key Responsibilities Provide scheduled virtual counseling sessions. Complete biopsychosocial assessments, safety screenings, and treatment plans. Deliver evidence-informed interventions appropriate to each client’s needs. Evaluate progress and update treatment goals as needed. Maintain complete and timely electronic clinical records. Coordinate referrals when a different level or type of care is required. Communicate with supervisors and authorized care partners when clinically appropriate. Requirements Master’s degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, psychology, or a related behavioral health field. Current state-issued associate, provisional, temporary, intern, candidate, or other supervised-practice credential in counseling, clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related mental health discipline. Credential must authorize the applicant to provide clinical services under supervision to clients located in KY. Ability to work under approved clinical supervision.
