What you'll do

  • Conduct and support Quality Assurance activities related to Pharmacovigilance (PV) regulatory requirements, guidelines, laws and internal standards for all phases of drug development.
  • Lead, coordinate and support PV inspection readiness activities and contribute to regulatory health authority inspections conduct and management.
  • Develop, improve and manage quality systems and processes, including PV risk-based audit strategy, annual assessments, CAPAs, deviations, change controls and Quality Events.
  • Manage/oversee routine and for-cause audits of vendors, partners, affiliates and support vendor management and subcontractor assessments.
  • Coordinate with Global Patient Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations and Quality to ensure implementation of PV requirements; develop KPIs and metrics and drive continuous improvement (including AI-enabled tools).

What they require

  • Bachelor of Science degree and 8+ years of Pharmacovigilance experience required.
  • Master’s degree and 6+ years of related experience preferred.
  • Expert global knowledge of GVP and GCP requirements and understanding of international regulations applicable to clinical trials and pharmacovigilance operations.
  • Ability to lead in a matrixed global organization and resolve complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation.
  • Travel: 30% travel may be required. Preferred: Auditor certification; Preferred: Quality System certification.
