What you'll do

  • Build and manage a portfolio of 75-125 qualified donors and prospects with capacity to give $100,000+
  • Develop and execute multi-year cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies to meet an annual fundraising goal of $1,000,000+
  • Prepare briefing materials, proposals, budgets and reports in collaboration with donor communications, program staff and finance
  • Engage US-based and international donors and collaborate with The Nature Conservancy’s global fundraising network on cross-border fundraising
  • Support and coordinate donor cultivation and stewardship events and identify renewal and upgrade opportunities

What they require

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience or an equivalent combination
  • Experience building and maintaining long-term relationships with fundraising constituents and managing multiple prospects and donors
  • Experience in asking for and closing gifts of $25,000 or more
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and training or coursework in fundraising principles and practices
  • Preferred: Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience
