What you'll do

  • Develop and implement regional marketing strategies and brand plans aligned with global/EMEA direction.
  • Lead the development and execution of product strategies, including lifecycle management and new product launches.
  • Ensure effective localization and execution of promotional campaigns across markets.
  • Drive market analysis, insights generation, and performance tracking to optimize business decisions.
  • Oversee preparation of reports, forecasts, and marketing analytics.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and external stakeholders.
  • Represent Santen at industry events, symposia, and conferences.
  • Ensure high-quality scientific and promotional engagement with healthcare professionals.
  • Lead, coach and develop a regional marketing team
  • Ensure clarity of roles, objectives, and performance expectations across the team.
  • Drive talent development, succession planning, and capability building.
  • Conduct regular coaching, feedback, and performance management activities.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance culture across markets.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Medical, Market Access, and other functions to ensure integrated execution.
  • Ensure alignment across countries within the East Region and sharing of best practices.
  • Drive consistency in branding, messaging, and compliance standards.
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with internal policies, local regulations, and industry codes.
  • Ensure timely reporting of safety information in line with pharmacovigilance requirements.

What they require

  • 8–10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, including Rx (prescription) product marketing on a regional or multi-country scope.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams.
  • Strong track record in product launches and brand management.
  • Experience in ophthalmology (preferred).
  • Experience working in Central/Eastern Europe markets (desired)
  • Fluent in English and local language
  • Strong strategic marketing and brand management expertise.
