What you'll do

  • Lead the transformation of the shopper experience by blending shopper insights, category strategy, and retail commercial dynamics.
  • Own the strategic direction of key initiatives.
  • Support Walmart’s Beauty and Personal Care Merchandising team.
  • Guide cross-functional partners to bring visionary concepts to life.
  • Champion continuous category growth.
  • Pioneer cutting-edge industry tools.
  • Craft the future of Beauty & Personal Care at Walmart.
  • Direct the continuous improvement of the category growth process and champion innovative tools to shape the future of Beauty & Personal Care at Walmart.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Walmart's Beauty and Personal Care Merchandising team, owning the strategic direction of joint initiatives.
  • Guide internal teams and external agency partners to deliver thought leadership, strategic solutions, and high-impact multi-workstream programs.
  • Serve as a people-first leader passionate about cultivating culture, motivating teams, and developing talent to perform at their highest potential.
  • Integrate multiple insight sources to determine short- and long-term positioning, translating data into actionable execution plans and customer touchpoints.
  • Anticipate future opportunities with strong intuition, elevating traditional analyses beyond raw data into decisive strategic action.
  • Build deep partnerships across multiple cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders to proactively link business opportunities with strategic and tactical recommendations.
  • Leverage deep data and creative insights to develop compelling selling stories and category strategies that capture shopper and market opportunities.

What they require

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with 10 years of experience in Category Management, Customer Management, Insights, or Sales Strategy.
  • CPG and Beauty industry experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and present executive-grade strategic recommendations to C-suite audiences.
  • Extensive knowledge of key data sources: Nielsen/Circana, Scintilla, Panel providers, Social Listening & Reviews platforms, and Digital commerce.
  • Expertise in linking analytics via traditional data sources with cutting-edge capabilities and tools to develop insights into action.
  • Strong track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing external agency partners against complex, multi-workstream programs.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Walmart experience preferred.
