What you'll do

  • Work alongside the sales team to determine what the customer really needs.
  • Becoming an expert with our products' use-cases, e.g., vacuum automation robots & wafer handling systems, atmospheric wafer handling systems, loadports, underlying motion controls & software, to provide pre-sales technical support to our customers and account teams.
  • Guiding product integrations at customer sites as well as directly working on the products for: demonstrating product features and performance, first article sign-off, product escalations, debugging complex issues with the Field Service staff.
  • Answering questions from OEM customers about all aspects of our products.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers to become their technical interface and trusted advisor.
  • Understanding customers' applications and markets.
  • Preparing detailed product specifications to define solutions to meet customers' high value applications.
  • Working with the sales & marketing staff to identify, assess and prioritize potential customers and applications of our products.
  • Communicating customer needs and wishes to our marketing & product engineering staff and launching internal projects for customer requests, leading to new products, product enhancements, features or software.
  • Supporting customer visits, attending & presenting at trade shows and seminars.
  • Developing and delivering demonstrations to win opportunities.
  • Becoming an expert with our products’ use-cases, e.g., vacuum automation robots & wafer handling systems, atmospheric wafer handling systems, loadports, underlying motion controls & software, to provide pre-sales technical support to our customers and account teams.
  • Guiding product integrations at customer sites.
  • Directly working on the products for: Demonstrating product features and performance, First Article sign-off, Product escalations, Debugging complex issues with the Field Service staff.
  • Working objectively and as a team member to quickly respond to customer needs.
  • Understanding Customers’ applications and markets.
  • Preparing detailed product specifications to define solutions to meet customers’ high value applications.
  • Working with the sales, & marketing staff to identify, assess and prioritize potential customers and applications of our products.
  • Communicating customer needs and wishes to our marketing, & product engineering staff and launching internal projects for customer requests, leading to new Products, Product enhancements, features or software.

  • Technical ability to read a drawing, understand how it works, and electrical/mechanical skills.

  • Experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Understanding of electronic components such as sensors, switches, relays, actuators, etc.
  • Able to understand electrical wiring diagrams.
  • Helpful, patient and possesses the ability to relate to many types of people.
  • Able to work through problems systematically and document the findings.
  • Strong commitment to goals and team-first attitude.
  • Able to travel internationally including USA. Up to 50% travel; plannable.
  • Basic experience with scripting languages or programming (stated as 'Basic Experience with scripting Languages or programming.' — but not marked as plus? Actually it's in the 'What you will bring' list, so may be preferred but not necessarily required. In the text: 'Basic Experience with scripting Languages or programming. Able to travel internationally including USA.' It seems a requirement. I'll treat it as required, though it's basic.
  • Preferred: Experience in 2D CAD, 3D CAD is a plus.
