What you'll do

  • Manage critical business applications in the healthcare domain.
  • Ensure the stability, availability, performance, and user-friendliness of applications.
  • Analyze level 3 incidents, coordinate their resolution, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Maintain application documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Translate business and clinical needs into concrete system adaptations.
  • Integrate PIS, RIS, PACS, LIS, and other associated health applications.
  • Coordinate interfaces, data flows, and dependencies between different applications.
  • Participate in testing, validation, and implementation of application evolutions.
  • Prepare training materials and train users.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities.
  • Work closely with external vendors and implementation partners.
  • Coordinate incident resolution, change requests, and service improvements.
  • Ensure clear communication between all stakeholders, especially users.
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT standards, security requirements, and operational controls.
  • Participate in access management, data protection, and documentation requirements.
  • Contribute to risk, architecture, and quality assessments.
  • Participate in application projects, integrations, and system deployments.
  • Contribute to digital and artificial intelligence initiatives.
  • Support post-acquisition integration activities.
  • Ensure effective transition between projects and operational exploitation.

What they require

  • Solid technical understanding of applications, infrastructures, networks, and IT security.
  • Experience with health information systems such as PIS, RIS, LIS or PACS.
  • Ability to operate in complex, international environments involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear communication with business users, technical teams, and external vendors.
  • Structured approach, sense of responsibility, and results orientation.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong service orientation and search for pragmatic solutions meeting business needs.
  • Diploma or vocational training in IT, business IT, health IT, or equivalent field.
  • Significant experience in application engineering, application management, or health IT.
  • Occasional travel required, approximately 20% of the time.
