​​Looking for Philippines-based candidates Job Role: AI Systems & Automation Specialist Compensation range: $1,500 - $2,000 AUD / Monthly Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home. Who The Client Is: This Australian business specializes in aftermarket accessories and equipment for four-wheel-drive vehicles. It offers high-quality products that enhance vehicle performance, protection, and touring capability, with a strong focus on reliable service and practical solutions for off-road enthusiasts. Role Overview: We're looking for an AI Automation Specialist to streamline and automate business processes across an eCommerce environment. In this role, you'll design, build, and maintain AI-powered workflows that reduce manual tasks, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience. You'll leverage tools such as Claude, Make, Zapier, APIs, and Shopify integrations to create scalable automations while collaborating closely with stakeholders to identify new opportunities for process improvement. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain AI-powered automation workflows using tools such as Claude, Make, Zapier, and APIs. Automate repetitive business processes across customer service, operations, and eCommerce platforms. Integrate business systems including Shopify, CRM platforms, and other third-party applications. Develop workflows that intelligently route tasks, escalate complex cases, and maintain accurate system records. Monitor automation performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously optimize workflows. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through AI and automation. Document automation processes, system architecture, and best practices. Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into practical automation solutions. Stay up to date with emerging AI tools and automation technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate. Requirements Previous experience designing and implementing AI or workflow automation solutions. Strong understanding of automation platforms such as Make (Integromat), Zapier, n8n, or similar tools. Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or comparable large language models within business workflows. Experience integrating APIs and connecting multiple business systems. Familiarity with Shopify, CRM platforms, and eCommerce operations is highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify automation opportunities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with programming or scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or similar) is an advantage but not required. Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple automation projects independently. A systems-thinking mindset with a passion for improving business processes through AI and automation.
