What you'll do

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate the strategic roadmap for AI-enabled products, capabilities, and automation initiatives across enterprise platforms and business functions.
  • Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI use cases that support organizational objectives and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Serve as the product owner for AI-related enhancements, managing product backlogs, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization activities.
  • Monitor and assess vendor-delivered AI capabilities, Oracle AI features, enterprise productivity platform enhancements, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and value creation.
  • Evaluate business processes and workflows to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, increase automation, and enhance employee productivity through AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with functional, technical, data, security, legal, compliance, and architecture teams to assess solution feasibility, risks, integration requirements, and organizational readiness.
  • Define product requirements, business value metrics, success criteria, governance standards, and operational guardrails for AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Ensure AI solutions comply with organizational security, privacy, risk management, regulatory, and responsible AI requirements.
  • Lead the functional support and continuous improvement of deployed AI capabilities, ensuring solutions remain effective, relevant, and aligned with evolving business needs.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing, pilot programs, release readiness activities, and stakeholder sign-off processes for AI implementations.
  • Drive adoption and change management efforts by developing communication plans, training materials, and stakeholder engagement strategies that support successful implementation and utilization.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure adoption, performance, productivity improvements, operational efficiencies, and return on investment for AI initiatives.
  • Partner with data governance and analytics teams to assess data quality, availability, accuracy, and readiness requirements necessary to support AI solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize and scale reusable AI assets, agentic workflows, prompts, automation components, and best practices across the enterprise.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and strategic guidance to leadership regarding AI trends, emerging capabilities, risks, opportunities, and recommended investments.
  • Collaborate with project and delivery teams to ensure AI initiatives are implemented on time, within scope, and aligned with enterprise architecture and business objectives.
  • Support budget planning, vendor evaluation, and business case development for AI-related products, technologies, and services.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and responsible AI adoption throughout the organization.
  • Maintain and pursue continuing education opportunities, such as training and certification exams.
  • Participate on internal projects.
  • Provide expertise and help to others, as needed, on projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • May assist with training members of the technical staff.
  • May conduct interviews.
  • Assigns duties and responsibilities and oversees workflow of project staff.
  • May conduct project performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

  • A reliable and consistent internet connection is required.
  • Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Bending, sitting lifting, driving.
  • Full time work during Apex IT business hours and, at times, outside of business hours, if required.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of product management, business systems, or technology experience preferred.
  • Preferred: Experience with AI, automation, digital transformation, or enterprise applications preferred.
  • Preferred: Product Owner, Agile, or Scrum certification preferred.
  • Preferred: Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams preferred.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of AI governance, security, and data privacy best practices preferred.
