What you'll do

  • Serving as mentor and methodologist on numerous dissertation committees.
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on dissertation manuscripts.
  • Prepare doctoral students to conduct qualitative or quantitative dissertation research.
  • Teaching either qualitative or quantitative research methods courses.
  • Complete grading within five days, respond to student emails within 36 hours, check into courses every 48 hours, and complete ongoing professional development.

What they require

  • PhD or equivalent in an allied health profession such as, but not limited to Health Sciences, Rehabilitation Science, Physical Therapy, Communication Science, and Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience with a single methodology (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods).
  • Online faculty must have regular access to and familiarity with the Internet/e-mail.
  • Preferred: Terminal degree in Health Sciences or a related field; methodology experience in multiple methodologies.
  • Preferred: Three years or more of full-time online teaching experience at the graduate levels and a history of publication in academic or trade journals.
