What you'll do

  • Lead strategic programs and projects that directly contribute to the mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
  • Advance innovation and excellence across multiple business units by managing complex portfolios across the business.
  • Combine strategic leadership with hands-on program execution.
  • Build and guide high-performing teams.
  • Ensure successful delivery of critical projects.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
  • Support portfolio governance, resource optimization, and standardization of program management best practices.
  • Support organizational change management activities related to transformation programs.

What they require

  • Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of program/project management experience in regulated environments.
  • Preferred: Preferred Fields of Study: Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional programs from concept through delivery.
  • Strong understanding of strategic, digital and operating model transformations.
  • Experience managing portfolios with multi-million-dollar budgets and revenue impacts.
  • Expertise in program management methodologies, tools, and best practices including stage gate processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and guide in matrix organizations without direct authority.
  • Excellence in stakeholder management and executive-level communication.
  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and business case development.
  • Experience with project management software.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ability to adapt approaches based on project needs.
  • Strategic mindset with ability to align programs to business objectives.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Preferred: Experience in regulated environments (GMP, FDA) preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.
  • Experience building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities.
