What you'll do

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities across Europe, focusing on retailer-mandated programs, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and producers.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts through a consultative sales approach and regular customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders within customer organizations.
  • Lead commercial discussions and contract negotiations to secure new business and expand existing partnerships.
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts and business updates.
  • Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activities, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and successful project execution.
  • Represent Copeland Cargo Solutions at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.

What they require

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in business development, account management, or sales within cold chain logistics, transportation, supply chain, food industry, or related markets.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing complex sales cycles and negotiations.
  • Experience working with temperature-sensitive, perishable, or high-value products.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%-50% across Europe, depending on location.
  • Legally authorized to work in the Country in which they apply.
  • Preferred: Experience selling cold chain monitoring, IoT, visibility, logistics technology, or supply chain solutions.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of retailer compliance programs, food safety requirements, and cold chain best practices.
  • Preferred: Experience working with retailers, 3PLs, food producers, pharmaceutical companies, or cargo operators.
  • Preferred: Additional European language skills.
  • Preferred: Experience working in a multinational or matrix organization.
  • Preferred: Strong understanding of international logistics processes and supply chain operations.
  • Preferred: Proven ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders across multiple countries and cultures.
