Remote Account Director selling fiber infrastructure and connectivity into SLED (state, local & education) accounts. Requires 5+ years solution selling into large SLED accounts and strong knowledge of Ethernet, OCN, IP transport, Dark Fiber and colocation. Role is full-time, US-only (Great Lakes region states) and quota-bearing with monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.

What you'll do
- Generate sales revenue by actively promoting Zayo products and services to targeted account patches.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals set by the leadership team through aggressive prospecting and selling.
- Present proposals and manage customers through the sales process.
- Maintain current business relationships with customers, securing existing revenue on long-term commitments and/or selling net new accounts.
- Track, analyze and report on sales performance and activities in Salesforce and provide accurate and timely forecasts of sales opportunities.
What they require
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year College; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience solution selling into large SLED Accounts.
- Complete understanding of Zayo Networks value proposition, products and services such as Ethernet, OCN, IP transport, Dark Fiber, custom access, and colocation.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Demonstrated success & consistency in achieving targeted sales goals.
