Urgent Clarification Needed: Comprend Job Scam Incident Dear Comprend Team, My name is Alka Verma, and I recently found myself in a distressing situation that I believe involves Comprend and Wellfound. I am reaching out to seek urgent clarification and resolution regarding a potential job scam incident. I applied for a job position at Comprend through Wellfound and was subsequently selected. Throughout the process, all communications were handled by an individual named James Handslip, who identified himself as the Managing Director (UK) at Comprend. I received an offer letter via Skype, and assurances were given regarding various aspects of the role, including the provision of necessary tools, email ID, and managerial support, and he also told me that my manager would be Martin Petersson. However, when I inquired about the salary routine, communication abruptly ceased. Concerned, I visited the company website only to discover a scam notification. Despite my attempts to reach out to key personnel via email and LinkedIn, I have not received any response. This situation has left me feeling lost and frustrated. My family depends on my income, and I even turned down another job offer because of this one. I started working with Comprend on 11th March and continued till the end of the month(20 days). Moreover, I am attaching some screenshots as evidence of the scam. I have a few simple questions: 1. How could such a scam occur under the guise of Comprend's name, and what measures are being taken to prevent such incidents in the future? 2. Why has there been no response to my inquiries and attempts to communicate with the company's representatives? 3. What actions is Comprend taking to rectify the situation and support those affected, such as myself? 4. Can Comprend provide assurance to job seekers regarding the authenticity of its job openings and the platforms through which they are advertised? This ordeal has left me without employment, causing significant distress and uncertainty for myself and my family, who rely on my income. I urge Comprend to address this matter with urgency and transparency, not only for my sake but also to safeguard the trust of potential job applicants. I kindly request that Comprend issue a statement or clarification on LinkedIn, acknowledging the incident and outlining steps being taken to address it. This will help raise awareness among job seekers and prevent others from falling victim to similar scams. I eagerly await your response and resolution. #scam #comprend #fakejob [#wellfound](https://www.linkedin.com/signup/cold-join?session_redirect=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.linkedianonymous report ·
