About the role:

JumpCloud’s Total Rewards team is looking for a detail-oriented team player to help support the day-to-day administration, analysis, and compliance of our global compensation and benefits programs, focusing on benefits administration across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas and foundational compensation analysis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, enjoys digging into data, and wants to build a career in Total Rewards.You'll partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors while supporting our global benefits programs, compensation cycles, audits, and reporting.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Core Benefits Administration & Lifecycle Support

• Enrollments & Status Changes: Coordinate and execute end-to-end processing of benefit enrollments and status changes across US and international platforms.
• Onboarding & Communications: Generate and distribute benefit enrollment documentation; follow up with new hires to ensure timely registration within mandated windows.
• Leave of Absence Support: Assist with administrative tracking and compliance tasks for medical, parental, and maternity leaves.
• Offboarding & Terminations: Manage the benefit termination process across carrier portals and ensure exiting employees receive accurate and timely insurance continuation notices.

2. Compensation Analysis & Support

• Market Benchmarking & Analysis: Conduct basic compensation analysis, including market benchmarking, pay equity checks, and salary range comparisons.
• Annual Cycle Support: Support annual merit, bonus, and equity cycles, including data preparation, validation, and system loading.
• Job Architecture Maintenance: Assist with job leveling and job architecture maintenance.
• Compensation Structure Control: Help maintain compensation structures (salary bands/ranges) and keep documentation current

3. Financial Operations, Billing & Reconciliations

• Invoice Support: Prepare accurate self-billing schedules. Retrieve, format, and forward approved premium invoices to the Accounts Payable team while maintaining meticulous compliance records. Partner with Payroll and insurance carriers to research and resolve any billing discrepancies.
• Payroll Deductions: Calculate benefit premium adjustments and coordinate directly with regional Payroll teams to execute accurate monthly deductions and contributions.

4. Seasonal Programs & Project Support

• Benefits Enrollment & Renewals: Deliver comprehensive support during annual enrollment and renewal periods. Compile and organize multi-country census datasets, clear background system errors, and assist with back-end setup configurations.
• Documentation & Implementation Support: Coordinate, track, and assist with the completion of insurance carrier paperwork, applications, and implementation forms.
• Employee Communications: Help draft, edit, and localize employee-facing resources and communication materials. Assist in scheduling and supporting informational benefits webinars.
• Knowledge Management: Continually update and maintain Total Rewards documentation, process guides, FAQ’s, and employee intranet sites to guarantee accuracy.
• Special Projects Support: Support the team with special projects, including system implementations, program redesigns, and vendor evaluations

5. Compliance, Auditing & Data Analysis

• Data Integrity Auditing: Perform structured benefits and compensation data validation audits across HRIS and vendor platforms.
• Cross-Functional Reporting: Pull, validate, and format recurring and ad hoc compensation and benefits reports for HR, Finance, and leadership.
• Compliance: Support compliance reporting requirements (e.g., pay transparency, benefits compliance reporting and filings) as needed.
• Retirement and Savings Plan Support: Process global pension and 401(k) contribution updates and adjustments for payroll processing; assist with Savings Funds and other global financial products.

6. Employee Experience, Wellness & Shared Services

• Employee Support: Assist in responding to day-to-day employee benefits inquiries, resolving carrier access issues, and coordinating claims escalations with brokers.
• Wellness Programs: Contribute to and collaborate on company-wide wellness campaigns and health initiatives.
• Global Resources: Research, assemble, and update annual international paid holiday calendars across regions (Americas, APAC, EMEA).

7. General Total Rewards Support

• Ad Hoc Analytical Support: Provide general administrative and analytical support across the Total Rewards function as priorities evolve.

We're looking for:

• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in compensation, benefits, or a related HR function.
• Availability: Ability and willingness to be available for calls in the evenings 2-3 days per week, in order to align with US/Mexico team members.
• Compensation Fundamentals: Working knowledge of compensation fundamentals (base pay, bonus, market pricing, pay equity concepts).
• Learning Mindset: Prior exposure to benefits or an eagerness and ability to quickly master varied global statutory frameworks.
• Analytical Toolkit: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data sorting) to confidently manipulate census data, execute audits, and reconcile invoices.
• Systems & Platforms: Exposure to modern HRIS platforms (ADP preferred). Meticulous document control habits using platforms like Egnyte and DocuSign.
• Core Traits: High attention to numeric accuracy, absolute discretion regarding sensitive PII/PHI data, and strong communication skills.

Where you’ll be working/Location:

JumpCloud is committed to being Remote First, meaning that you are able to work remotely within the country noted in the Job Description.

This role is remote in the country of India. You must be located in and authorized to work in India to be considered for this role.
