Software Engineer – Google Workspace & SaaS Integrations

Role OverviewWe are looking for a hands-on Software Engineer to join our product development team and help build, enhance, and scale SaaS applications and integrations across productivity ecosystems. Our current primary focus is the Google Workspace ecosystem, including applications and add-ons integrating with products such as Google Drive, Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Workspace Admin, and related Google APIs.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with founders/product stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into clear technical solutions.Actively participate in requirements refinement and identify missing scenarios, edge cases, and technical constraints.Design and develop applications, add-ons, integrations, and backend services primarily within the Google Workspace ecosystem.Work extensively with Google APIs such as Google Drive, Gmail, Sheets, Workspace Admin SDK, and OAuth.Develop integrations for additional ecosystems such as Dropbox, Microsoft 365, and Slack.Use modern AI development tools and LLMs to improve engineering productivity and development quality.Take end-to-end responsibility for quality, including creating comprehensive test scenarios and performing functional and integration testing.Implement logging, monitoring, retry, and error-handling mechanisms to ensure reliability.RequirementsProven experience in designing and developing scalable backend services and integrations.Deep understanding of API management, including rate-limiting, OAuth, and quota efficiency.Ability to handle complex distributed systems challenges like background jobs, batching, and failure recovery.Strong engineering mindset focused on scalability, security, and maintainability.Experience with AI-assisted development workflows.SkillsGoogle APIsOAuthSaaS IntegrationsBackend DevelopmentAI Development Tools
