Zur Verstärkung unseres IT-Teams suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt einen Senior AI Software Engineer (m/w/d) – Automation & AI (Laravel/PHP) in Vollzeit.
DAS MACHST DU BEI UNS:
- Mit Claude Code, Codex und weiteren aktuellen AI-Coding-Tools entwickelst du KI-gestützte Anwendungen, Backend-Module und Automatisierungen in Laravel und PHP
- Von der ersten Idee bis zum produktiven Einsatz konzipierst und orchestrierst du KI-Agenten und Workflows zur Automatisierung realer Geschäftsprozesse
- Dabei entwickelst du produktionsreife KI-Funktionen, unter anderem durch die Anbindung von LLM-APIs, den Einsatz von Embeddings und Vektor-Datenbanken sowie den Aufbau von RAG-Services und Tool-Calling-Pipelines
- Skalierbare API-Flows, Hintergrundjobs, Cronjobs und Microservices gehören ebenso zu deinem Aufgabenbereich wie deren zuverlässiger und sicherer Betrieb
- Als technischer Impulsgeber verantwortest du Architekturentscheidungen, Code-Qualität und Standards und unterstützt das Team beim effizienten Einsatz von AI-Coding-Tools
- Neue Modelle, Technologien und Tools prüfst du regelmäßig auf ihren Mehrwert und überführst geeignete Ansätze in unsere Systeme und Prozesse
- Gemeinsam mit den Fachabteilungen identifizierst du Automatisierungs- und KI-Potenziale und gestaltest unsere technische KI-Roadmap aktiv mit
DAS BRINGST DU OPTIMALERWEISE MIT:
- Ein abgeschlossenes Studium oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung in Informatik, Data Science, Mathematik oder einem verwandten Bereich
- Mindestens fünf Jahre Erfahrung in der Entwicklung webbasierter Anwendungen und Backends, einschließlich fundierter Praxis mit Laravel und PHP
- Produktive Erfahrung mit AI-Coding-Tools wie Claude Code, Codex, Cursor oder vergleichbaren Anwendungen
- Nachweisliche Erfahrung mit KI-Lösungen im produktiven Einsatz, insbesondere mit LLMs, Embeddings, RAG und idealerweise agentischen Systemen
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in der Prozessautomatisierung sowie in der Entwicklung von API-Flows, Hintergrundjobs und Microservices
- Sicherer Umgang mit relationalen Datenbanken wie MariaDB, MySQL oder DuckDB sowie mit Eloquent ORM, Docker und GitLab CI/CD
- Erfahrung mit automatisierten Tests, beispielsweise mit PHPUnit oder Pest
- Idealerweise Erfahrung in technischer Führung, Architekturarbeit oder im Mentoring
- Begeisterung für neue KI-Technologien sowie eine eigenverantwortliche und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
- Konversationssichere Deutschkenntnisse

- Develop AI-powered applications, backend modules, and automations in Laravel and PHP using AI coding tools like Claude Code, Codex, and others.
- Conceive and orchestrate AI agents and workflows for automating real business processes from idea to production.
- Develop production-ready AI functions, including connecting LLM APIs, using embeddings and vector databases, and building RAG services and tool-calling pipelines.
- Develop scalable API flows, background jobs, cron jobs, and microservices, and ensure their reliable and secure operation.
- Act as a technical driver, responsible for architectural decisions, code quality, and standards.
- Support the team in the efficient use of AI coding tools.
- Regularly evaluate new models, technologies, and tools for their added value and integrate suitable approaches into systems and processes.
- Identify automation and AI potentials together with business departments and actively shape the technical AI roadmap.
Что требуется
- Completed degree or comparable education in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in developing web-based applications and backends, including solid practical experience with Laravel and PHP.
- Productive experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or comparable applications.
- Proven experience with AI solutions in production, especially with LLMs, Embeddings, RAG, and ideally agentic systems.
- Solid knowledge in process automation and in the development of API flows, background jobs, and microservices.
- Confident handling of relational databases such as MariaDB, MySQL, or DuckDB, as well as Eloquent ORM, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience with automated tests, for example with PHPUnit or Pest.
- Ideally, experience in technical leadership, architecture work, or mentoring.
- Enthusiasm for new AI technologies and an independent, solution-oriented approach to work.
