SAP Basis Administrator (Freelancer)

Mactores is the agent-native AWS modernization firm. Most modernization work doesn't ship, it stalls in pilots, slips a year, or lands at three times the budget. We exist to ship it: production systems running, legacy retired, outcomes measured. Our delivery is built on Aedeon, the agent platform built by Mactores' founders' sister company, which absorbs the repetitive 60–70% of engagement work, discovery, dependency mapping, validation, test generation, that traditional consulting bills human hours against. Forward-deployed engineers own the rest: architecture, judgment, and cutover, on dates we commit to in the contract.

Nothing cuts over cleanly if the landscape underneath it is flaky. Our Application & Database Modernization engagements — including SAP estates moving to AWS, depend on non-production SAP HANA environments where we prototype migrations and prove refactors before they touch anything real. That layer is yours. As our SAP Basis Administrator, you'll build the sandboxes, DEV, and QA tiers our engineering teams break and rebuild daily. Aedeon and our engineers move fast against these environments; your job is to make them reliable enough that nobody has to think about them. You'll design the landscape, automate it, and keep it clean. This is a freelance engagement, remote from India, working PST hours so you're in the room with US engineering leads as decisions are made, not reading about them the next morning. You'll be the SAP Basis voice on customer calls, and the person engineering counts on when an environment needs to come up clean and fast.
