Чем предстоит заниматься

  • Support applicants/subrecipients through the FEMA PA grant lifecycle, from damage identification through project obligation and closeout readiness.
  • Conduct or support site inspections, damage assessments, and scoping of disaster-related work across Categories A–G.
  • Develop and write Project Worksheets in Grants Portal (or successor systems), including damage descriptions, scopes of work, cost estimates, and versions.
  • Gather, organize, and upload supporting documentation (force-account labor/equipment, contracts, invoices, photos, insurance, and procurement files).
  • Apply Stafford Act, PAPPG, and 2 CFR 200 standards to eligibility, cost reasonableness, and procurement questions; flag issues early.
  • Respond to FEMA and state RFIs and help applicants correct documentation gaps that would delay obligation or payment.
  • Track project status, deadlines, and outstanding items; keep applicant and internal leadership current on progress.
  • Assist with insurance/duplication of benefits reviews and identification of potential 406 mitigation opportunities.
  • Coordinate professionally with applicants, TEMA/state staff, FEMA Program Delivery staff, and internal specialists.

Что требуется

  • 5+ years of FEMA public assistance and grant experience
  • Demonstrated practical knowledge of categories A, B, and E
  • Demonstrated experience in at least 2 major disaster recovery efforts
  • Demonstrated experience writing project worksheets (PW)
  • Experience working in and supporting an Emergency Operations Center
  • Experience with grants portal, EMMIE, or any state specific grants systems
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsored visa
  • Must pass company and any applicable client background check
