Partner Solutions Architect

Mactores is the agent-native AWS modernization firm. Most modernization work doesn't ship, it stalls in pilots, slips a year, or lands at three times the budget. We exist to ship it: production systems running, legacy retired, outcomes measured. Our delivery is built on Aedeon, the agent platform built by Mactores' founders' sister company, which absorbs the repetitive 60–70% of engagement work, discovery, dependency mapping, validation, test generation, that traditional consulting bills human hours against. Forward-deployed engineers own the rest: architecture, judgment, and cutover, on dates we commit to in the contract.

As a Partner Solutions Architect, you own that documentation across all of our partnerships, not just AWS. You're given project and architecture details by the delivery team, and you turn them into the competency documentation each partner program requires, and into case studies you can explain and defend to a partner reviewer, to a prospect, to anyone asking "what did Mactores actually ship here." AI tools are fair game for drafting; the bar is on accuracy and whether it holds up under questioning. Do this well, and the natural next step is a presales architect role, taking these case studies and this partner fluency directly into prospect conversations.

What you’ll do?

• Create and maintain competency documentation across all of Mactores' partnerships AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Anthropic, OpenAI using project and architecture details provided by the delivery team.
• Produce the technical validation write-ups, architecture diagrams, and case study documentation each partner's competency and service delivery program requires.
• Build a working command of Mactores' case studies well enough to explain them clearly the problem, the architecture, the outcome to partner reviewers, prospects, or internal stakeholders.
• Use AI tools to accelerate drafting, while owning the accuracy and review-readiness of the final document.
• Keep documentation format and quality consistent across partners and engagements.
• Flag gaps in the project details you're given when they're not sufficient to produce audit-ready documentation.
• Work against fixed deadlines tied to partner program renewal and review cycles.

What we’re looking for?

• 2–3 years of experience in technical documentation, solutions architecture, or a related role touching AWS and/or modern data/AI platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Anthropic, OpenAI).
• Working knowledge of cloud architecture concepts enough to read a design across different platforms and document it accurately.
• Strong technical writing skills; comfortable turning raw project detail into a document that reads cleanly to an external reviewer.
• Comfortable explaining technical case studies out loud, not just writing them this role grows toward customer-facing work.
• Familiarity with diagramming tools (draw.io, Lucidchart, or similar) for architecture diagrams.
• Comfortable using AI tools as part of a documentation workflow, without leaning on them for accuracy you haven't verified.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to hold a deadline without supervision.

The Path to Joining the Mactores Team

At Mactores, our recruitment process is structured around three distinct stages:

Pre-Employment Assessment:

A series of evaluations of your technical proficiency and suitability for the role.

Managerial Interview: The hiring manager engages with you in multiple discussions, 30 minutes to an hour each, covering technical skills, hands-on experience, leadership potential, and communication.

HR Discussion: During this 30-minute session, you'll have the opportunity to discuss the offer and next steps with a member of the HR team.
