You'll sit at the <strong>core of our investment engine</strong> — sourcing, evaluating and modelling acquisition opportunities. We find the next great app or strategic SaaS acquisition, build the case, negotiate the deal and hand it off to our operating teams to scale. It's fast, high ownership and every deal is different.</span></p><h4>🔥 Deals Are Your Game!</h4><p><span>You'll join BlueThrone's Investment team, working alongside our sourcing and acquisitions functions to identify, evaluate and execute on mobile app acquisitions as well as complementary and strategic SaaS acquisitions that bolster our platform.</span></p><p><span>Your mission: take a lead from first look to IC recommendation — request the data, build the model, stress-test the thesis and work with the team to build a clear 'buy/don't buy' case for the Investment Committee.</span></p><p><span>You'll source deals and take founder meetings, manage end-to-end deal processes, collaborate cross-functionally with our product, growth and monetization teams and help shape how we evaluate opportunities across partnerships and acquisitions.</span></p><h4>What you'll need to succeed:</h4><ul><li><p><span>Build <strong>financial models</strong> from scratch — subscription <strong>cohort models</strong>, ad-monetized revenue builds, <strong>ROAS</strong>-based projections, <strong>SaaS metrics models </strong>and blended <strong>acquisition models</strong> across <strong>mobile apps </strong>and complementary SaaS businesses.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Evaluate <strong>acquisition targets</strong> — request <strong>data</strong> access, analyze <strong>KPIs</strong> (LTV, CAC, retention, churn, ARPU), identify <strong>risks</strong> and form an independent view on value.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Support <strong>IC preparation</strong> — work with the <strong>Chief Investment Officer </strong>to structure the investment thesis, build supporting materials and contribute to Investment Committee presentations, with the opportunity to eventually present directly.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Meet with <strong>founders</strong> — conduct <strong>intro calls</strong> and deep-dive sessions with <strong>app founders</strong>, approaching every conversation with curiosity and empathy.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Run <strong>deal processes </strong>— manage timelines, coordinate diligence work streams, track deliverables and keep deals moving.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate <strong>cross-functionally </strong>— work closely with the investment team, sourcing team, product, and growth teams to assess post-acquisition optimization potential and build a complete picture of each opportunity.</span></p></li></ul><h4>What you'll need to succeed:</h4></div><ul><li><p><span><strong>2–4 years in investment banking</strong>, corporate finance, or a buy-side role with hands-on <strong>deal experience.</strong></span></p></li><li><p><span><strong>Mobile app experience </strong>— you understand the <strong>app ecosystem</strong>, key <strong>metrics</strong> (MAU, DAU, <strong>retention</strong> curves, ARPU, LTV, CAC) and how <strong>mobile businesses</strong> work.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Exceptional <strong>financial modeling</strong> skills — you've built <strong>models from scratch</strong>, not just inherited and tweaked them.
