About the Job: The Functional Consultant with Zone & Co will be essential in gathering and analyzing client business requirements and translating them into functional specifications and user stories. This role will collaborate closely with technical teams to design and configure solutions that precisely meet client needs, while conducting product demonstrations and training sessions to ensure effective implementation. As a Functional Consultant, this role will also assist with testing and quality assurance processes to guarantee solutions are error-free and meet all requirements, and will provide ongoing client support, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary enhancements. Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, the Functional Consultant will document processes and customizations, and participate in pre-sales activities, including solution presentations and proposal development. Effective communication with clients and internal teams will be key to managing expectations and achieving project milestones. Responsible for exemplifying excellent customer service and the Company core values, culture, policy and procedures at all times. What You'll Do: Gather and analyze business requirements from customers Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories Collaborate with technical teams to design and configure solutions that meet customer needs Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers Assist in the testing and quality assurance processes to ensure solutions meet requirements and are error-free Provide ongoing support to customers, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements as needed Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the domain Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met and expectations are managed Document processes, configurations, and customisations for future reference Participate in pre-sales activities such as solution presentations and proposal - development Other duties as prescribed - Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice What You'll Need: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience 3+ years of experience in a functional consulting role within the fintech industry Experience with enterprise software implementation projects, preferably in areas such as ERP, CRM, or other business applications Understanding of business processes and ability to analyse and document complex requirements Project management skills Excellent communication and client-facing abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Fluency in English required; written and verbal fluency in French is a strong plus (additional European languages are also beneficial) Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines Ability to communicate professionally, both written and verbal Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills #LI-Remote Benefits At Zone, we provide the platform; you provide the grit.
